Mission of
Perry Hilltop Citizens Council
PHCC’s mission is to stimulate civic and social action on a non-sectarian, non-partisan and interracial basis to benefit all residents and to improve the quality of life for all residents and business enterprises within the Perry Hilltop neighborhood.
Collaboration with FCC
In 2016, with the redevelopment of Allegheny Dwellings Sandusky Courts displacing several hundred residents, PHCC partnered with Fineview Citizens Council to increase capacity and advocate for the development of housing which was affordable and prevented displacement of existing neighbors. FCC & PHCC continue to work together with shared staff, community planning and fundraising efforts. Together the two separate groups gauge the needs of the community and advocate for the concerns of residents. Both organizations have independent community boards.
