COMMUNITY PLAN

Our collaborative work began in 2016 with the Phase 1 redevelopment of Allegheny Dwellings. Both Fineview & Perry Hilltop had a history of disinvestment. The redevelopment of Allegheny Dwellings was going to be the first investment in Fineview in many years. The two neighborhoods felt strongly that in order to help protect the rights and future of Allegheny Dwellings residents and to have the ability to direct and shape their future neighborhood reinvestment, they must pull together, join forces and create a community plan.

Out of this plan came the following priorities: Public safety, Real Estate, Housing & Economic Development, Education, Public Health, Arts & Cultural Preservation, & Open Spaces
